In-kind Donations

Your donation of new and gently used items are a great way to support essential programs for people in our community who are homeless or vulnerable.

Please see the current list of urgently needed items below. Donations may be dropped off by appointment only at the front entrance of the building at 552 Adelaide Street West. Unfortunately, EHM is unable to pick-up donated items.

Appointments can be made to drop off items from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM and on Sundays, between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Please call 416.504.3563 to make an appointment.

Items we are unable to accept:

  • Furniture
  • Baby accessories (strollers, breast pumps, playpens, etc.)
  • Donations intended for a specific individual or family
  • Home health equipment (CPAP machines, bathroom equipment, etc.)
  • Assistive devices (canes, wheelchairs, crutches, casts)

Tax Receipts

Tax receipts can only be issued for gifts-in-kind with prior confirmation from ehm staff. Proof of item value, such as a sales receipt, is required. Gift cards are receipted at face value.

Donate a Car

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Evangel Hall Mission.  Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Evangel Hall Mission, Donate a Car Canada will arrange for the car to be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). After your vehicle donation is complete, ehm will send you a tax receipt and put your gift to good use.
