Volunteering and Community Service Credits
At EHM, we understand the value of community service and recognize the enthusiasm of high school students in contributing to our mission. While we occasionally have opportunities for student volunteers throughout the year, please note that we do not have a standing program, and accommodating requests may be limited.
-
Volunteer Availability
-
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate new volunteering requests between May 15 and June 30. We appreciate your understanding during this period.

-
Student Initiative
-
High school students interested in volunteering must take the initiative to make their own requests and arrangements. While we can discuss safety protocols with parents, it's essential for students to take ownership and directly inquire about potential opportunities.
-
Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI)
We are thrilled that many students choose EHM as their platform for the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI). We appreciate your commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
-
Self-Service Resources
-
Due to the high volume of inquiries, we kindly request that students first explore the EHM website to find answers to their questions. This ensures that the available resources are utilized efficiently.

Additional Queries
-
If students have additional questions after exploring the website, we are more than happy to assist. However, to streamline the process, we ask that you schedule a 15-minute phone interview or Zoom meeting. Please be aware that this is contingent on staff availability, and we require a minimum of one week's notice to arrange a meeting.
