Housing

Our residences provide safe, self-contained, subsidized (Rent-Geared-to-Income) housing, for tenants who can live independently. Community building, advocacy and referral, and coaching are some of the supports that tenants can access. Residence is a safe, welcoming, diverse community for individuals with a variety of lived experiences. 

• Adelaide St Residence: 84 apartments with a mix of bachelors, 1 and 2 bedrooms, for single people, couples, and families with children.  
• Portland Place: 46 apartments with a mix of bachelors, 1 and 2 bedrooms, for single people, couples, and families with children, with some accessible units. 

Applying for Housing EHM works with partner organizations who refer their existing shelter and transitional housing clients to EHM. There is no direct application process to EHM.
